PORTAGE COLD BREW BLEND
Just in time for your next river adventure comes the perfect blend of 4 origins; Brazil, Sumatra, Colombia and Guatemala. This sweet and creamy coffee has a bold chocolate taste with hints of blackberry and a smooth lingering caramel finish. Specifically designed for cold brewing. Don’t portage without it!
COLD BREW INSTRUCTIONS
Grind:
Coarse; same grind you would use for a french press.
Coffee to Water Ratio:
1:5 Concentrate
1:10 Ready to Drink
For example, 12 ounces of coffee (1 full bag) to 60 ounces of water to yield cold brew concentrate. If you want it ready to drink you would then cut 1:1 with water (or milk). That will give you just under a gallon of cold brew.
Time:
We recommend 16-18 hours but we’ve brewed it up to 24 hours with great results. Going over 24 hours might give you some woody or unpleasant notes.
